March 19: Yo-Yo at the BETA Conference

It was business cards galore at the BETA Youth Travel Workshop this week as Yo-Yo School Exchange was invited to meet with representatives from some of the UK’s top attractions and service providers to discuss potential collaborations in the future.

Yo-Yo is a relatively new member of BETA (The British Educational Travel Association), meaning this was our first time attending the Youth Travel Conference.

Held at London’s KIA Oval Cricket Stadium, the conference brought together 130 different organisations from all areas of the Youth travel industry.

One of the most useful parts of the day was the opportunity to pre-arrange a full day of 15-minute meetings with a range of businesses from across the UK and even further afield.

Yo-Yo will definitely be utilising the services of some of the businesses we had the pleasure of meeting at the conference during our busy summer period and beyond.

BETA was established in 2003 as a not for profit membership association and now represents some of the biggest and best-known business in the youth, student and educational travel industry.
