October 19: Yo-Yo Hosts Luxury Tour

This October saw Yo-Yo School Exchange step away from our roots as a youth travel company, by welcoming a group of adults on a 10 day luxury tour of the UK.

Fine dining and lavish accommodation were the order of the day for our party of 20, with high-end boutique shops and premium tourist attractions keeping them busy during their stay.

Yo-Yo’s dedicated tour guide led the group from city-to-city, providing expert local knowledge at every stage of our packed itinerary which included overnight says in central London, York, Windermere, Stratford-upon-Avon, and Oxford.

The busy London-leg of the journey took in: Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, Downing St, Buckingham Palace, Greenwich Observatory, The British Museum, Harrods, Hyde Park, 221B Baker Street, and The Freud Museum. All in all, a full-on few days!

The Ritz, Aqua Shard, and Burger & Lobster were three of the many restaurants visited whilst in the capital.

On the way up north, our party stopped off in Cambridge for look around King’s College and of course a trip on the punts!

After getting back on the bus, the visitors carried onward to York, where the city’s historic cathedral and town-centre Shambles blew them away.

The following morning featured a trip to Windermere for a cruise on the lake before relaxing in a local country house hotel.

The next stop on the tour was Manchester, where our group visited Old Trafford, China Town, as well as Manchester’s bustling town centre. After that, the bus took us back down south to Shakespeare’s Birthplace in Stratford-upon-Avon and then onto a plush hotel nearby.

The final night was spent in Oxford, which meant our guests were able to spend a few hours in the ever-popular Bicester Village where many fine garments and other items were obtained!

Following Oxford, our group paid a quick visit to Windsor Castle before heading to Heathrow before jetting off back home to China.
